Securing Global Pharma: Azure Information Protection Deployment for 40,000 Users

Throughout most of 2017 and the entirety of 2018, we collaborated with an international pharmaceutical company on a security initiative to implement Azure Information Protection for VIP users within the organization, safeguarding critical data from external leaks.

The project delivered a robust tool for information classification and protection, prioritizing the security of the company’s environment and the workflows of VIP users. It facilitated secure communication, enhanced file storage, and enabled the company to fully leverage platforms like SharePoint and OneDrive in a protected manner.

The technology was deployed for approximately 40,000 users and successfully transitioned to the Operations team in December 2018. The company is now expanding use cases, implementing additional features, and planning to broaden the user base benefiting from the solution.
